Quality Assurance (QA)

The Quality Assurance (QA) function has far reaching responsibilities in keeping with DANMA’s emphasis on consistently providing superior quality products. We closely monitor the greenhouse’s growing environment with sophisticated control systems to manage & control temperature, light, humidity, water, and carbon dioxide levels within the greenhouse. Our quality assurance managers are trained in food safety principles and follow some of the most stringent principals set forth by the GAP.

Our Green Houses

DANMA uses sustainable growing practices. All crops are grown in safe, clean and environmentally friendly conditions. Our “earth friendly” growing practices ensure long term sustainability, efficient utilization of resources and respect for local bio diversity. We do everything we can to avoid using harmful chemicals and pesticides.

Greenhouse growing ensures optimal environmental and climatic conditions and provides the perfect mix of nutrients for our plants, yielding the highest quality produce.

Controlled-environment agriculture (CEA) is any agricultural technology that enables the grower to manipulate a crop's environment to the desired conditions. CEA technologies include greenhouses, hydroponics, aquaculture, and aquaponics. Controlled variables include temperature, humidity, pH, and nutrient analysis.

Hydroponics is a method of growing plants using mineral nutrient solutions, in water, without soil. Terrestrial plants may be grown with their roots in the mineral nutrient solution only or in an inert medium, in natural products such as coconut husk, wood fiber etc.
