Our Mission
The Society believes that Ophthalmology is a noble profession and shall actively participate in all ways possible and within it's jurisdiction to contribute positively in enhancing the quality of life through excellent and thorough Eye Care in Zambia.
The Society will endeavour to create a professional environment in which Ophthalmologists are expected to exploit their potential fully in providing health care.
Our Structure
The Society is run by a team of vibrant and experienced Ophthalmologists and other players dedicated to grow the Eye Health fraternity. Dr. Chileshe Mboni is currently serving as President and Assisted by Dr.High Monze as Interim Vice president. Dr. Consity Mwale serves as Interim Secretary General and Dr. David Kasongole serves as Publicity Secretary. Dr. Misa Funjika and Dr. Edith Pola - Smith are serving as Treasurer and vice respectively.Dr. John Mvula and Mr Kelvin Jere serve as Committee Members. Dr. Grace C. Mutati serves as an ex official.
